To begin with, I graduated college (technically, though they're making me take one more class [economics, bleh] before its really real, I guess...). So I've been super busy trying to make everything go exactly right (and failed, apparently) so that I could get started on a career. That's kind of why I've been pushing the pack (and all things Petz) aside. (Do you think I've added enough parenthesis? I do, lets stop...)
Well, I'm back for a moment and while I haven't been updating this site, I have played with my wolfiez on and off, which makes for some pretty interesting updates! X3 Interesting to me, at least. :3
I decided that once the pups officially reached adulthood, I would test them with their two alphas to see if they got along with them. So I did that with RiverPine and RedwoodSand since both those litters had reached adulthood. I was rather disappointed in Soft (who I decided to give Leaves as his true name both because of his coat and because of his sort of whimsical personality). I thought he would stick with it and love his parents who worked so hard to raise him. I was wrong apparently as he rejected both of them! I kind of think that this is partially due to jealousy when the two had a litter of three which they devoted so much of their time to. Oh well, now he's running with the loners and we'll see if develops a pack of his own or not. *shrugs*
Then there was Growl, now named Sheer as in sheer drop or drop off or cliff, etc. She didn't surprise me at all when she rejected her family; I knew she would grow up with way too much dominance to stick around. Well good luck to her!
Then finally, I went and visited my new loners group with the addition of Leaves and Sheer. I was simply observing the chaos that having that many wolves out at once causes when suddenly, boon! A heart just pops up out of no where! And whose names where in the heart? Moon and Dusk! XD I wouldn't have guessed that match in a hundred days! Moon is so dominant and independent that I thought she wouldn't be able to stand Dusk's gruff, standoffish personality. And low and behold I find they not only mated, but when alone together they give each other big googoo eyes and nuzzled and cuddle and all that other gross lovey stuff. I'm still trying to accept it. I just don't know when it could have happened...
So now our pack count is up to six, our loner count remains at seven, with the newest members taking the lowest rank until they prove their dominance. (That's a yay for Gold and the other super low ranks as they get to feel a little superior for a moment.)
And that's about it for now, though I will admit that if there was any pack under the gun for being destroyed, it would be StarSnow Pack... And there's only one pack currently that could do it... Alright, gotta go! Bye for now!
